Launched in 1999, Fabric.com is an online fabric store which calls itself “The Place To Go When You Sew” has been acquired by Amazon. However, the cost of the deal was not disclosed.

Fabric.com joins growing list of Amazon acquisitions including Audible, which was acquired earlier this year.

The deal will allow Fabric.com to expand its selection of sewing materials as well as, providing Amazon with a larger catalog of hobby and craft materials.
