…another thing is that, the service is having problems due to a database crash. It seems its taking them a while to fix probably due to the fact they have many sucky API’s on their system too which isn’t helping them recover from this meaning that a few services on the site are disabled

As well as, this I’m also wondering when they will finally monetize the service with ads because, surely the VC’s that have funded the service will want to see a ROI and Twitter are at a point where they have alot of users and are the king in their market of being a “micro-blogging tool” and because, of this i don’t see how a couple of banners here and there will really affect them as, I doubt people will stop using the service because they added a couple of advertisements now.

Contest

I’m still collecting some prizes to try and fill up the contest a little further “give it a boost” so to speak. However, even if no more prizes aren’t added to the contest there are alot of good prizes in here anyway for you to be interested in

Adsung

The combined system is being scrapped because, after a decent level of research we have decided to offer a separate system of publisher and advertiser but include a link-up system in case you decide to have your earnings as a publisher transferred into advertiser credit for instance.

As well as this, we are expecting a Summer 2008 relaunch of the service however, the relaunch date of is yet to be finalised and we will be opening a few discussions with publishers shortly to arrange sponsorship arrangements to show Adsung advertisements on their site.

The theme is being improved and will be shown with the contest launch on Wednesday, so make sure you look out for that.
