Yahoo! has confirmed the acquisition of video publishing platform Maven Networks for $160 million.  This announcement has been delayed by the preoccupied Yahoo management team because, of Microsoft’s bombshell offer for Yahoo.Yahoo will use Maven’s technology to host video for media partners and incorporate Maven’s video-ad insertion technology into its overall advertising platform.
