Dreamhost Tried To Bill Customers Twice!

Its that time of year when I renew my hosting (except for the ones I pay for monthly). This time it came to renewing Dreamhost, as they gave me a kind reminder to my email inbox.

However, with this email reminder I noticed they tried to bill me twice and I still don’t even have to pay yet because, not only is my hosting due for renewal, as it has a few days left according to their terms of service users have a 60 day grace period too! As a result, myself and many customers feel they crossed the line.

Another factor was that, they stated in their newsletter definitley made up my mind why I should leave them:

If your next web hosting bill from us is mysteriously tripled, now you
know why
.”

Then suddenly, they try to bill my twice…makes you wonder doesn’t it ;)

I’m not sure how many other customers will be dropping dreamhost after this issue, but I’m no longer using their service and have started moving sites within my dreamhost account to other hosting services.

    How many hosting plans do you have? Doesn’t that make it difficult with multiple sites?
