Bebo’s Developer Platform: Open For Developers

January 11th, 2008 By Nicholas James

Bebo initially launched its developer platform with only 40 partners which left the rest of Facebook developer community wanting to get on the action. However, those 40 partners are now not the only ones who can use the Bebo Developer platform, as Bebo have launched it for all developers.

The idea of the Bebo developer’s platform is to clone Facebook’s platform so that developers wouldn’t have to relearn a new developing platform, meaning they wouldn’t have to completely rebuild their applications. This would obviously benefit Bebo as they can get their users using the majority of the applications running on facebook. However, Bebo’s platform still requires tweaks of the facebook application to get it working perfectly.

You can see a list of the current Bebo applications here and you can visit developer.bebo.com for more information.
