Final Warning: Blog Comment Spammers
I’m getting really annoyed with these blog comment spams off those stupid porn sites or whatever they are.
Spammers I’m serious, spam my blog comments with your useless spam one more time and I am going to start to take some serious action.
This will involve contacting, the internet service providers, hosts and domain registrars to get the spammers sites removed. I’m not stupid, so before you think I’ll go through as proxy he won’t get me. I will, as I will be contacting any proxies for the logs of the users to the blog and match them to the commentors to get these spammers taken offline.
Personally, I don’t care if you spam just don’t do it here and if the majority of the ip’s are coming from a certain demographic, then this will result in a banning of that whole demographic accessing the blog.
I know there’s a modification to stop the spam comments showing on the approve comments area. I have this modification installed but this isn’t enough, as its catching some proper blog comments too and as a result I’m taking this process in making sure we start to say goodbye to these useless spammers once and for all!

The easiest way to nix the spam comments is to use your “comment blacklist” in your Wordpress Dashboard. I have a forum thread with a list of terms to ban and trust me, it will save you hours of deleteing unwanted comments. The thread is here…

Spamming is not just commenting and leaving a link, that can be easily solved by setting up the comment rules and installing askimet. The fact is that (I believe) he considers spam comments those “kinky” (Hey great post).
A harsh of resource and space, and most do it to get listed in the top commentators. I did took a similar approach but after all, left them be (and mainly because askimet marks them as spam comments so no work involved from my side).
