Today, I got wind that that the Google Phone was coming in February. I got straight onto my sources, asking them why I didn’t get this heads up too, then I got this reply:

“I should have informed you, about the fact that there was going to be some speculation for the Google Phone coming in February 08 but, I just got off the phone to my contact and he’s assured me that it is going to be March 08 when the Google Phone will hit the stores.“

However, after a little investigation I found out that Google has booked 2 booths at the Mobile World Congress Expo in Barcelona on February. So I went back to my source stating my concerns and was told:

“Yes, Google have booked 2 booths on the Expo floor in February. However, this is to show their prototypes of future models and the release of the Google Phone, as they want to show their intention to the other major players that they are serious in trying to take down Apple“

This goes to show the reason why they are booking two booths, as well as the fact I couldn’t get it to you earlier

However, I made sure I informed my sources not matter how vague the information is next time make sure you get it to me
