PayPerPost: Why It Really Sucks!

December 12th, 2007 By Nicholas James

I would just like to say, even if PayPerPost representatives get around to reviewing my blog after this I don’t really care!

I was going to offer paid reviews through one of the major blog review companies simply, easily and effectively. I submitted to PayPerPost despite the knowledge of the potential Google slap but I took the risk!

Was the risk of the Google Slap worth it?

No, well I didn’t even face the risk due to the fact I never got round to getting my blog approved by their “Customer Love” section (where you get your blog reviewed by their staff). PayPerPost is supposed to be a reasonably large organisation even getting more funding off venture capitalists and despite this aren’t even reviewing blogs to make them money! This is beyond me!

I’ve posted a contact to their support as “Critical” status with the title as “You Need To Read This!” and explaining how the suck and I want my account banned/closed or whatever they want to call it - lets hope they will respond to this quicker reviewing my blog.

Don’t worry, I’ll be posting updates and responses if they ever get round to responding and depending if they close my account before responding.

Heres a screenshot of the ticket I have sent to them:

I’ve also applied to ReviewMe for my blog, although at this stage the blog is in their reviewing stage I’m going to give them a chance since I applied later than PayPerPost, actually I’m going to contact ReviewMe to see if they can review my blog a little earlier :)

Anyways the point is, don’t use PayPerPost ever and if you are move away now. This has wound me up so much, I’m considering purchasing/creating a blog service (with lower rates and better service/support) and showing what you can do without millions of venture capital money but clever business knowledge and wise strategies used! If I make one, don’t worry I’m not as dumb as them I’ll do alot of market research and contact a few “premium” bloggers to see if we can arrange a deal with them offering their reviews via the service if I was to offer one :)

I’ve had decent luck with PayPerPost so far, but sorry to hear that it’s been such a hassle for you.
