If you start posting comments on other blogs then your not going to only get the owner of the blog to notice you as, your going to increase your traffic because, the blog readers will notice you too! 

Remember, if you’re after traffic then you have to be the first to comment.  This is because, from personal experience I wouldn’t read past the first 10, so being the first to reply is going to get you give you the best chance of getting some traffic. However, don’t target the small blogs you need to attack the big guns! This is where good old Technorati comes into play as Technorati provide a list of the top 100 blogs on the internet. This means that these blog are getting loads of traffic and not only are they getting loads of traffic but they all contain a comment system (just like ProfitBaron does). As well as being in the first top 10 commenters to the latest blog post, you should look for a blog showing the top commenters. This is because, by becoming a Top Commentator, you usually receive the benefit of increasing your SEO, Traffic and Technorati ranking too
